This is to give notice that the Trustees of the Wallace Rabbit District have made arrangements with Mr George Bailey, druggist, Tay street, Invercargill, for an ample and constant supply of phosphorised Oats for the destruction of rabbits. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY given that a poll of the Burgesses of the Borough of Invercargill will be taken at the Municipal Council Hall, Kelviu street, on Monday, 9th day of August, 1880, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., for the purpose of deciding on the proposal of the Council of the Borough to borrow the sum of Twenty Thousand Pounds for the pniposes specified in the notice signed by the Town Clerk, and published in the Soathhiud News newspaper of the 28th June, ancl 7th, llth, 21st, and 28th July, 1880, and in the SOUTHLAND Times newspaper of the same dates, and which said proposal was considered at the' Public Meeting held in the Theatre Royal, Conon Street, on the evening of Friday, 30th July, 1880.
