The Rotorua, Captain Tozer, left Sydney at 2.15 p.m. on the 2nd instant, and arrived at the Bay of Islands.at 6 a.m. on'the 7th. Left again at 2 p.m., and arrived at Auckland ac 2 a.m. on the Bth. .Left again at 4.30 pjn. oh tne 10th, but owing to a dense fog, was compelled to bring up under Rangitoto until 2 a.m. on the llth inst. Arrived off Tauranga at/1 p.m. same day, but was prevented from communicating with the shore in consequence of the heavy sea running, and she therefore proceeded on the passage, arriving at GisDome at 11 a.m. on.the.l2th. Left again at 2.30 p.m,, and arrived off Napier at 4 a.m. on the 13th.; was detained outside by a heavy fog until 11 a.m. Left again at 2.30 p.m.; arrived at Wellington at 3 p.m. on the 14th. Left' again at 2.30 p.m. on the 15th ; arrived . at Lyttelton at 9 a.m. on the 16th. Left again at 5.20. plm., and arrived at Port Chalmers at 11.30 a.m. onrthe T?th. She experienced fine weather from Sydney to. j Auckland"; thence she : met very changeable i weather, with heavy seas and thick foggy "weather, along .'the coast' to' Lyttelton, and fine weather, from that port to arrival. -Left again at 4 p.m. oh" the 20jih, and arrived at Bluff at 8.30 v a.m. on the 21st. The .Electra was. engaged with her cargo thrbughbutthe whole of yesterday. The barque-Hopeful completed her ballasting yesterday, and will sail this morning.
