Captain Lyders, of the schooner Catlin. 46 tons, reports leaving Dunedin on the 28th May, arriving at BTufriate on Friday evening. Experienced moderate and variable weather during the passage. The Catlin brings a quantity -of railway material for WaimeaPlains railway. - *The schooner Pioneer and cutter Jane made the entrance of , the harbor yesterday afternoon, but the wind falling light they were unable to come alongside. The &s. Maori, Captain Bernech. left Dunedin at 9 p.m. on the 30th,- arriving at Bluff at 1.30 p.m. oh Saturday; Experienced light northerly winds and fine weather during-' pas-' sage; Took inabout 50 tons grain for Greymouth -and Hokitika,-and sailed in the evening. The Maori will visit the various Sounds on the West Coast on her way to Hokitika.
