Boyd, a jockey, was thrown and killed at a hurdle. The Corinthian. ,Cup fell to Hotspur, Cowarre 2, and Carlisle 3. The race was won by a neck. The Produce Stakes was won easily by South (?). with Hamilton 2. Twelve started for " the Australian Cup— Sayanaka, lj; Bosworth, 2 ; Swiveller, 3. It was a fine race. Time— lmin. 4sec.
