Messrs Cargills, Gibbs, and Co. have received advices from McMeckan, Blackwood, and Co. relative to the running of the Melbourne steamers this month. The letter Ba y g .—<_ou will observe we eend a boat hence (Melbourne) to the Bluff every Wed nesday, viz., in succession— the Eingarooma, Alhambra, Tararua, and Arawat*. the former going as far as Nelson; the Alhambra and Arawata to Wellington ; and whilst the Tararua maintains her present route round the coast, taking a final departure from Hokitika for head quarters. The Albion will also maintain her present route to dokitika, and so on round the coast to Bluff, and thence to Melbourne via Hobart Town. This will give a -steamer from the Bluff to Melbourne every Thursday, excepting when the Arawata is in turn, as she, under mail arrangements, must leave the Bluff on Tuesdays six months in the year, and on Jhursdays tbe other six. When the latter period comes on again, she will have timete extend her voyage to Nal*m»'
