XI, T HEREAS His Excellency the Governor 'V has, by Warrant under his hand, appointed mc, the undersigned Peter Dalrymple, to be the person to give public notice, as by law required, of the place, day, and hour for the Nomination of Candidates for election to the several offices of Mayor, Councillor?, and Auditors, for the Incorporated Town oi South Invercargill, under " the Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance, I860," and to attend on the day of tbe nomination of Candidates for such offices at such first election, and to preside and do aud perform at such election all the acta by the .aid Ordinance required or directed to be done by the Mayor of the said Incorporated Town of South Invercargili at the election of Mayor. Now, therefore, I, the said Peter Dalrymple, notify that the 12th day of February, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-seven, at noon, at my Residence, in the eaid Incorporate Town of South Invercargill, has been appointed as the day, hour, and place for the Nomination of Candidates for election to the office of Mayor of the said Incorporate Town of South Invercargill at the ensuing election : aud the 19th day of February, 1877, at noon at my residence in the said Incorporated town of South Invercargill have been appointed as the day, hour, and place for the nomination of candidates for election to the several offices as Councillors and Auditors, namely, two Councillor's each for North, Middle and f-'outh Wards, and two Auditors by the Electors of the whole town.
