An enquiry is to be held into the George street fire. The woman McLaren, who jumped on her husband's chest and killed him, has been removed to the Lunatic Asylum as insane. Eight cases, all light, are set down for trial at the Sessions. At the Dunstan election Vincent Pyke polled 309, and Baird 159. At the Koslyn election, Burns polled 233, and Grant 46.
