The Rules of the Winton Jockey Club will be strictly en forced. Three Uorsea to enter or no Rnce. Moreover no person to enter or nominate a horse not his (JSona fide) property unless the said subscription of £1 Is be paid lor the actual owner under forfeiture of any race such horse may win. All protests must be made in writing accompanied with the sum of £2 2s and lodged in the secretary's hamis within fifteen minutes after the race is run, the £2 2s to be lorfeited to the club should the Stewards consider the protest Irivoious or vexatious. Nomination lor the Longford Handicap and Hurdle Race to be addressed to the Stewards not later than 8 o'clock p.m. on the 20th December, Weight to bo declared the same evening, sweeps and acceptances to be paid the night before the races. 2nd. All disputes arißing from the racing, will be settled by the Stewards, whose decision will be final. 3rd. All entries, with, the exception of two handicaps to be made at the Gore Hotel before 8 o'clock on tho 25th of Dece-nbor. 4th.
