The Rules of the Winton Jockoy Club will be strictly enforced. Three Horses to enter or no Race. No person to enter or nominate ahorse unless he be a subscriber of not loss than £1 Is to the Race fund. Moreover no person to enter or nominate a horse not his {Bona fide) property unless the said subscription of £1 Is be puid for the actual owner under forfeiture of any race such horse may win. All protests must be made in writing accompanied with the sum of £2 2s and lodged in the secretary's hands within fifteen minutes after the race is run, the £2 2s to be forfeited to the club should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. Nominations lor the Winton Jockey Club Handicap, the Handicap Hurdle Race and the Grand Stand Handicap to be sent in to the ttcretaiy ot the Winion Jockey Club, Railway Hotel Winton, not later than 8 p.m. on Monday, 20th December. Weights to appear in the Southland Times on Wedneeday, U2nd December, acceptances on jjight of general Entry. All entries to be made not later than Friday, 24ih in sealed envelopes, containing Qualification money, entrance money, lull description of horse and name of owner and colors ol Rider. Nominution for tho Longford Handicap and Hurdle Race to be addressed to the Stewards not later than 8 o'clock p.m. on the 20th December. Weight to be declared the same evening, sweeps and acceptances to be paid the night before the races. 2nd. All disputes arising from the racing, will be settled by the Stewards, whose decision will be fiual. 3rd. All entties, with the exception of two handicaps to be made at the Gore Hotel before 8 o'clock on the 251h of Dece-nber. 4th.
