The b ig Craig Ellachie, sailed from the Bluff for Oamaru on the 3rd inst. • The Tararua cleared Port Phillip Heads at 3.30 p.m. on the 26th June, passed Swan Island the following day (Su»daj). Experienced fine weather until passing the Swan, and then encountered very strong S.E. gale, with tremendous head sea and thick weather, having to heave to for 48 hours, the gale not abating ustilthe morning of the Ist inst, then bad fine weather with strong S.E. breeze up to sighting the laud at 6 a.m. on the 3ra inst. Passed Stewart's Island at 5.30 p m., and arrived at the Bluff at 8 p.m. same day. The Tararua brings the New Zealand portion of the Suez Mail.
