The sum due for Sinking Fund, £200, was passed for payment. Councillor Cleave drew attention to the fact that he had seen a citizen prizing a crowbar into a drain iv Dee-street while making some alterations in his private drain connected therewith. Such a thing should not be permitted to be done except in the presence of a servant of the Corporation. Councillor Rose expressed a similar, but still stronger opinion on the subject, and it was decided that the bye-laws dealing with the matter should be enforced.
