It should be remembered that while working for the interests of the community in this particular, it can only be rendered still more i successful by the units of population e*ch assisting, so that the consumption may b» more and more concentrated, and greater facilities placed in the possession of those who are working out the problem of self-reliance, and actually helping those who live around us, instead of being completely dependent upon others, who must reap a large intermediate profit, which is always invested elsewhere, instead of in our midst. Arrangements are completed to purchase to any extent that useful adjunct to agricultural progress. Communications are requested from all districts, so that the only drawback, namely, the fear of not being able to get a sufficient quantity to work a Mill any length of time in each year, may be overcome. Waggoners will be negotiated with in respect of return freight from stations and outlying districts.
