MARTIN & CO hare received instruo* • tions from Robert Hamilton, Esq., Rozelle, to sell by auction, at their yards, on the abore date, the following valuable stock, viz. — Lot I.— « YOUNG LOFTY," rising 8 yearn old, by that celebrated horse Lofty, imported by the late Thomas Robinson, Esq., of Southland. His dam a first-claii Clydesdale mare, imported from Tasmania at great expense by Mr Thomas Clerke. Young Lofty, as a yearling, took first prize as the best Clydesdale entfre oolfc in the yard at the Southland Show in 1867 ; as a two-year-old he also took first prize in 1868 ; as a four-year-old he took first prize against all comers in 1870. Lot 2.—" LORD NELSON," rising 4 years old, by Young Lofty, out of the celebrated mare Flower, winner of the first prizes for five years in succession at the Southland Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Show, and is without doubt the best mare that any colonial entire has been bred out of. Lot 3. — Colt rising 3 years old, full brother to " LORD NELSON," an animal of great promise, and admirably adapted for station use. Note.— All the above horses are in firat-olass health and ready to prepare for the Beason, their breeding is undoubted, and they are also guaranteed to be first-class workers. Mr Hamilton having purchased the horse " Prince of Wales," and consequently having too many to attend to, is his Bole reason for parting with this valuable stud.
