LINDHURST ROAD BOARD.
A meeting of the Lindhursfc TJoad Board was held at the Halfway Bush on the 3rd September, when all the members were present. The committees of the MyroßS and Mabel subdivisions submitted" the valuation rolls, as revised by them, for the current year, which were passed by the Board. "The valuator for the Waimumu subdivision submitted his valuation for the current year, which waa also passed. It was agreed to levy a general rate of la in the £ for the current year in the Mabel and Myross subdivisions, and a general rate of 9d in the £in the Waimumu subdivision. The Clerk was instructed to prepare the r.tte roll, and to advertise the same for inspection, in terms of the Ordinance. The following items were voted to be ex pended by the Myross subdivision committee:—On the Mill Road, £270; road ! north of Myross Bush, £60 ; road south of Myross Bush, £10; Halliday'a Ridsje, £6 ; Waikiwi Bridge, £10 ; Bridge Inn road, £100; road to Eakahouka, £17; road south of Long Bush, £L 5. The sum of £100 was also voted to be spent on the road dividing the subdivisions of Myross and Mabel. The following items were voted to be expended by the committee of the Mabel subdivision : — Golden Creek, £50 ; Halfway Bush, £30; north of Mabel Bush, £50. On the motion of Mr Ba?stian, seconded by Mr Young, it waa agreed to take the necessary steps to have the road leading from Mabel Bush to Davidson's Bush continued through block 32 on to the road on the Scrubby Bush ridge. The committee of the Waimumu subdivision were empowered to employ the services of an authorised surveyor to survey any road-diversions they may think necessary, and report at next meeting of the Board.
