Prime mutton is getting scarce, and readily saleable at 3£d per lb. We have sold 400 privately at quotation. Store Sheep of all classes are in demand, but buyers still decline to meet the views of holders ; consequently we have no transactions to report. Store Cattle — A few lots change hands privately, but the demand is limited. Stations — There are soveral bnyers in the market, and good properties would command fair valhep, but we do not anticipate any important transactions until after shearing. Wool — None offering. Sheepskins — No sales have been held during the week. Privately, however, there is a fair demand at about late quotations, but the tendency of the market is towards easier rates. We shall offer about 1000 at auction on Wednesday next. New Zealand Hemp is in active request, with but little, or none offering. We quote £19 10s to £26 as the range of prices' for inferior to light ! well dressed qualities. At the former figure we have placed about 40 bales low quality. Oats were in active request in the early part of the week, and advanced ra'es -were in some instances paid, but advices since received from Melbourne being less favorable, prices to-day cannot be quoted at over ls 9d to ls lOd.
