METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATIONS IN JUNE, 1869. Mean temperature, 41*9 deg., 02 deg. below 10 years' average. Rainfall, 3*290 inches, 1-620 inch le3s than 1 years* average. Rain fell on 16 days ; 3* days more than the 10 years' average. Barometer, corrected aud reduced. — Maximum 30-305, (21st), minimum, 29190 (29th) ; mean, inches, Thermometer in shade. — Maximum, 56 - 0 (28th), inimum, 23*0, (2nd and 3rd), mean, 41-9 deg. Sadiation.— -Solar maximum, 101*0 (1st) ; terrestrial minimum, 14*0 (2nd). Hygrometer. — Dew-point, 37/9 deg; vapor tension, 0*231 inch ; humidity, *86. Rainfall. — Total, 3*290 inches; maximum, daily, "760 inch ; days rain fell, 16. Evaporation— Total, I*B9o inch. Cloud. — Mean amount, s*l (010). Wind.-X., 3; N.E., 1; E., 5; S.E., 3; S. 0; S.W., 1 ; W., 4; N.W., 3 days. Anemometer. — Mean daily movement, 175 miles ; maximum, 705 mile 9, (153).
