ARRIVAL OF THE "AIREDALE" WITH THE ENGLISH MAIL VIA PANAMA AT BLUFF HARBOR.
By th© arrival of the "Airedale," having the English Mail on board, via Panama, we are placed in possession of later American intelligence, most of the English intelligence, however, has already been anticipated by way of Suez. The Jjyttlefon Times contains the following — Wellington, Friday 23rd. The B.M.S. Mataura, G. E. Bird, E.F.8., Commander, arrived in Port Nicholso this day, at 5 a.m., bringing English and American news. She left Panama on the 24th October, and had fine weather till the 15th November ; ■ince when she experienced a succession of heavy gales, the sea running very high. Passed Opara, without calling in, on the 9th. Sighted two vessels supposed to be whalers. Nothing particular occurred during the voyage, all passengers well.
