Messrs. Townsend and Co. offered to-day the cargo-of the Gaspard, from Yalciitte. Very little sugar was sold. Gbssipore, No. .1, sold for £46 12a. 6d. ; castor oil, sold at 6s'. 6d. ; .Indian-made corn 'sacks,' at 1-1-s. ; curry powder, 19s. per dozen ; Bengal lines, s£d. per lb. ; woolpaoks withdrawn at 6s. 7c1. ; and gunny bags withdrawn at 10s. 6d. Rice, old stock, not sound, sold for £16 7s. 6d. to £18. General business dull. Heavy rains. No arrivals.
