First number will be issued ON MONDAY, 25th JULY. THE Proprietor, in placing this Prospectus before the public, does so under the conviction that a small cheap paper is very much required by the trading community at present — -one which will contain all the news of the day, and in which advertisements can be inserted at less than half the price charged by a morning daily. Arrangements liavo been made, and efficient Agents appointed, to forward the latest Shipping and Commercial Intelligence every evening ; and it is also contemplated to give a concise analysis or all the local and police intelligence each day — in fact, to embody in a small space all the advantages of a large paper.
