On the 12fh November, afc Monai Cottage, North Road, Invercargill, Mrs J. G. Hughes, of a daughter. MARRIAGES. On the 17th October, by special license, at St Paul's Church, Dunedio, by the Rev. E G. Edwards Joseph Farrar, only son of Roys Jones, Esq., of Claremont, New Hampshire, U.S., to Annie, only daughter of Edward Norman, Esq., of liighgate, near London. On the 23rd October, at Chatsworth House, near Invercargill, John Rutherford Ryley, Esq., Surgeon, Dee-street. Invercargill, to Charlotte, eldest daughter of Mr Thomas Robinson. DEATHS. On October 2nd, 1863, accidontly drowned by the upsetting of a boat at Lyttleton, Port Cooper, Mr Jatnes Chalker JBeer, master mariner, aged 39, a native of Dartmouth, Devonshire, England. On Saturday, 17th* October, 1863, at Invercargill, Southland, New Nealand, Lydia Le Messurier, the beloved wife of William George M'Clure, Esq. M.D., Provincial Surgeon, and daughter of John Grentell Aloyle, Esq., lato President cf the Bombay Medical Board.
