General Pembei'ton^and his officers have not been exchanged ; the exchange of prisoners has been partially suspended. The negroes captured at Charleston were refused to be exchanged, Morgan's raid into Ohio is at an end. General Shacklefoid, under date of the 26th July, officially reports the capture of j General Morgan, Colonel Cluke, and 400 of their men. Morgan.and Colonel Cluke have been brought lo Cincinnati, and confined in the city prison. ; New Orleans papers of ,the>26th July report tbe sacking stud destruction of Yazo City, Mississippi,.by the Federals. 6nthe4Mi August, eighteen negro sol- ' diers from Island No. ]oon the Mississippi, proceeded to Beckham's Landing, in Tennessee, and murdered a Mr Beck- , ham and his wliole family of six persons. A. number of the murderers have been ar rested, and_s«ate that they were incited to tbe act by the chaplain of their regiment, who bad been unsuccessful In the attempt to obtain tbe freedom-of a colored girl belonging to Mr.Beckham., Mounted patrols have bepn..organised .along Ane I>iver fr°m Vicksburg to-New Orleans.
