The brig Daniel Watson arrived last night from Invercargill, after a passage of twanty-onc days, having left that port on the Bth instant. Captain Chamberlain reports strong westerly winds throughout the passage, and on Saturday last was obliged to run into Spring Bay. She left again on Wednesday morning, and the schooner Circassian, bound to Launeeston, was then lying there. The Alma, Yarra, and Mayflower, for Launceston, left Invercargill with the Daniel Watson. Capt. Chamberlain has obliged us with a copy of the Invercargill Times of the 7th instant, being some days later than previous dates from the same place. — KobartTown Advertise)', July 30. She left Port Chalmers on the 27th June, and had to contend with hcuvy gales of wind, and was driven well to the southward, the highest latitude reached being 49 ° 30. The prevailing winds have been from N.W. to W. On the 23rd ult., a heavy squall from N.N.W. struck the Bhip, and the main top mast was the a sprung. Previous to and after this accident several sails wore carried away, and by a sea which struck the
