About 4 5 miles from town, the road turns to the left, and from thence to Winton Hush ("18 Utiles) the dray track should be kept, then the Survey line to the River Oreli (12 miles); from • thence follow the drag-track to the Elbow Accommodation House. By this route, 30 miles are saved, and if the Oreti is high the Hast Bank can be kept all the way. There is an accommodation house at Wallace- ' town, 7 miles from I nvcrcarg ill ; another at the Lime Hills, 25 miles ; another at th-c Elbow, 54 miles; another at Rogers, 74 miles ; and another at the foot of the Lake 92 miles.
