(From the Otago Provincial Government Gazette.) Chief Marine Board Office, Auckland, 3rd Feb. 1803. Captain J. M'Lean, s.s. Aldinga, reports that on S4th August last, the above vessel struck a sunken rock on tho South coast of Otaga, about three milp9 from the shore, Slope Point, bearing N.E. by E. and Waipapa point F.W. £ W., with twelve fathoms close to.
