Mabel District Boad via Bace Course. — . Construction of seven culverts, bridgo of one bay 24 feet, and two bridges of two bays, each bay 10 feet, filling up unsound ground and approaches, about 8 chains, and cutting sundry outfall and side drains, as per specification. Tenders received here till noon of 10th inst. 198. Campbelltown Boad, near Mr Dalrymple's. — Clearinsr all trees, stumps, and scrub, to a breadth of 150 links east of tho survey lino cut across the bend of the road about } mile north of Waimatua bridge. Cutting side drains, forming road, and gravelling about 2G chains, as per specification. Tenders received till noon of 12th inst*. 109. Biverton. — Earthworks between Custom House and Jetty. — Filling in Cul-de-sac (contents, about 800 yards) to a height of two feet above the lowest level, as per specifications, wbich may now be seen at the ofiice of the Provincial Engineer, or at Messrs Surman and Crerar's office. Riverfonj aftet- Monday next. Tenders will be received hero till Saturday, 14th inst. 200. Invercargill Jetty.— Tenders will be received till noon of 12th inst., for certain works, including the supply ot sixty-six fender piles, as per specification. 201. Boad from McKellars to the Oreti, Biver. — Forming, gravelling, and ditching road, bridging and making creeks fordable, as per specification, at per bridge and per chain,, and per cubic yard for other description of work: Tenders received till noon of 19th instant. 202. Campbelltown Boad.— Cutting catchwater drain, size 3 feet wide at bottom, 3 feet deep, sides to slope i- of base to 1 of rise, about lot) chains, to connect the ends of the outfall drain in swamp near tho New River estuary: Tenders till noon of 16th inst. 203. Campbelltown Boad by the Shore of Bluff Harbor. — Forming and metalling from the south side of McHardy's Cove to the north side of Archis Bay, being 186 chains or thereby, including cuttings, shallow embankments, and construction of culverts: Plans and specification to be seen after Sa-. turday next. Tenders received till noon of lGth inst. 204. Great North Boad. — Norih and South Skies of Winton Bush.— Gravelling contracts ISO and 181 as follows:— 180. Between Haugh Meadow Bum and Winto*^ Push. 1-j* mile in extent, about 15 chains of which aro already gravelled. 181. Between north end of W inten Bush and Centro BushjOi miles in extent, of which some' portions" may be excepted by the Provincial Engineer. Gravel to be the best procurable on the whole line,— to be laid 14 ft. wide. 12 in. deep in centre rounded to 8 in.at sides.
