Level approaches to swamp ; construct culvert 18 inche* square, 24 fwt lon*, filling and formin? road 2 feet high, -15 links in length ; cut side drains to ditto, each 3 feet wide on top, 2 feet 6 inches deep, and 9 inches at bottom ; also, 5 chains of outfall drains of same dimensions as above, to discbarge free!y into Tunamai Creek, over which construct bridge of 12 feet span, raised 1 foot above level of banks ; form approaches thereto, about 20 links at each end ; cover floor of bridge one foot deep with sound soil. Maori Head Creek : Construct culvert 24 feet long. 2 feet square, forming road and cutting drains on each side for 25 links, cut outfall drain 60 links. Construct culvert 20 inches square, 24 feet long, 2^ chains of ditching on either side, and cut outfall, if free discharge can b* obtained within six chains ; all ditches to be 50 feet apart, leaving a clear roadway of 44 feet, ot p* r Bridge, per Culvert, and per Chain for ditching and forming, or for the whole work. 152. Fcncirg. — Tenders will be received hereat till i;oon of 17th instant for Fencing the Cemetery at Biverton. Plan and specification of which may be seen here, and at the Offica of Messrs Surnam & Crerar, Riverton, after Wednesday next, the 10th inst. 153. Government Offices, Invercargill. — Tenders will bo received here till noon of the 17th instant, for certain alteration and additions to tbe abovft, as per plan and specification to be seen on and after Wednesday next, the 10th instant.
