Messrs. Hamilton and Peoctoe report : Business still pretty brisk. A very great demand for fafc cattle and sheep, and wo should advise our constituents to send first-ciass fat beasts in now. We huve sold since our last report a. mob of good fat cattle at 60s per 100 lbs. There is still a great demand for good heavy and light draught Horses, and also goua hacks ; inferior do not go off well. We quote as follows : — Fat Cattle— Prime bullocks, 60s per 100 lbs; medium and inferior, £13 to £18 per head; cows, £12 to £15.

Messrs. Robertson & Co. report : —Business improving steadily, and sales much better attended. Fat Cattle in demand at from 55s to 65s per 100 lbs; medium quality, oOs por 100 lbs. Taere is a good demand for lirst-clnss stock.
Store Cattle— Demand limited, first-ekss would readily fetch £13 to £15 per hear! ; we sold a small lot, in very low condition, from £11 to £13 per head. Calves — Wanted, none in the market. Working Bullucks— From £45 to £60 per pair. Fat Sheep— Prime Wethers, from 38s. to 455. Horses — Good heavy draught from £60 to £80; light harness hacks, from £35 to £55; inferior from £25 to £30.
