AVERAGE QUOTATIONS. The attendance of buyers at the saleyards yesterday was a good one, but there yere no unusual prices recorded. Pigs sold well, bul) the offering was small. Stores predominated among the cows submitted, and sheep were only in fair demand. This week’s prices showed:— Cows, etc. —Light fat £7 5s to £9, forward condition £3 10s to £4 15s, stores 30s to £2 10s, empty store heifers £3 10s, good quality Jersey cross yearling heifers £3 10s to. £4, medium ditto £2 15s to £3 15s, poor condition ditto £2 to £2 ss, yearling coloured heifers £2 2s to* £2 12s 6d, heifers in milk £5 to £7, springing heifers £4 to £6 2s 6(1, bulls £2- 15s to £7 10s. Sheep.—Aged ewes with lambs '47s, forward condition ewes 25s 2d. Pigs.—Bacoriers £4 7s to £4 10s; porkers £3 to £3 4s, choppers £3 7s, stores 30s to £2,. good weaners 255, to 32s 6(1, medium 19s to 22s 6d.
