SHANNON BOROUGH COUNCIL. LOAN FOR MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS. NOTICE is hereby given that the Council proposes lor the purpose gI alterations and additions' to the present Municipal Buildings, Plixnmer Terrace, Shannon, to raise a special loan of -£7OO at a rate of interest not exceeding six per cent, per annum, with a sinking fund not exceeding two per cent. And for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the loan and for the payment of interest charges thereon to appropriate and pledge as security, a special rate of one-four-teenth of a Id in the £ on the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Shannon, such rate tq. be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and to he made and levied by resolution of the Council to be passed after the said special loan lias been agreed to by the ratepayers. The whole of the loan is to he repaid at the expiry of •20 years from, the date of raising the same.
