The Anglican Bishops have presented a collective address upholding the Archbishops in their recent decision in regard to the ritual, and express the opinion that disobedience on the part of the clergy will be equivalent to setting up a nonepiscopal form of Church Government. It is pointed out that any reform enabling the Church to do more effective work h thus retarded. Received 4.57 p.m., January 22nd. THE WEST ISLINGTON SEAT. The petition against the election of Air Lough for West Islington was dismissed, and, Air Lough was declared elected. DUEL. PARIS, January 21. A son of Baron Gustav Rothschild, ol Paris, fohglit a duel of fifteen bouts with Count Lubersac. The meeting arose over a dispute on antisemeticism. Count Lubersac was severely wounded in the arm.
