CHRISTCHURCH, January 2. The lawn tennis championship meeting was continued to-day in splendid weather, ■he courts being in fine condition. Results :

LADIES’ SINGLES. Miss M. Simpson won semi-final, Leung -Miss K. Van Asch.

MEN’S DOUBLES,

R. D. Harman and J. U. Collins received. a walk over, Laishley and Alains being scratched. ’ ' LADIES’ DOUBLES.

In the semi-finals Misses Nunneley and Lean beat Miss M. Ramsay and F. Campbell.
