Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, December 19. The Auckland Builders and Contractors’ Union have not. decided to refuse the rise demanded by the bricklayers to 12s per day, but they require that they shall have the stipulated notice of two months, and after that they will consider the position. BOARD OF CONCILIATION. WELLINGTON, December 19. The hearing of the drivers’ dispute was resumed before the Conciliation Board today. The rates of pay and working hours were discussed. Further evidence will be taken to-morrow.
