SYDNEY, November 28. A return tabled in the Assembly showed that during the past 20 years over 127,000,000 bushels of wheat were exported from the States now forming the Commonwealth. Wheat, chick, 2s 3d to 2s sd; milling, old, 2s 7d; new, 2s 6d. Flour, £6 15s; Manitoban, £ll. Oats, feeding New Zealand, 2s to 2s 2d; local, Is 8d to Is lid. Barley, feeding, 2s to 2s 2d. Maize, firm, prime New Zealand, 2s lid. Peas, Prussian blue, 3s to 3s 6d. Bran, B^d. Pollard, Bjd. Potatoes, new local, £8 to £9; Circular Head, £6 to £7; New Zealand derwents, stale, £5. Onions, £4 to £6 10s. Butter, dairy-made, 7£d to 8d; creamerymade, 9d. Cheese, New Zealand is unquoted. Bacon, New Zealand flitches, 5d to s^d; rolls, 6d. , The above quotations are those ruling between merchant and retailer, and do not represent the slightly lower values obtained by the recognised broker.
MELBOURNE, November 28. Wheat, old, sales have been made at 2s 9d to 2s 9£d; new, 2s 8d to 2s B£d. Oats, Algerian, old, Is 9d to 2s; new, Is 8d to Is 9d; stout, 2s 9d. Maize, 2s Bd. Bran, 9d to 9^d. Pollard, ILjsd. Potaoes, £4 10s to £5. Onions, £8 to £9. , The “Leader” estimates the colonys wheat crop at 18,715,000 bushels ; an average of 9a bushels per acre.
