A Settler’s Peculiar Disablement.

INJURED BY A PICK HANDLE. Picking my way from the township of Toongabbie (Victoria), one bright morning, through paddocks and over fences (says a reporter of the “Maffra Spectator”), I came in sight of a lithe, active old man busy clearing.
