United Press Association—Per 151 ictrto Telegraph—Copyrigui. Received 9.10 a.m., November 27th. LONDON, November 26. ■ The Reitfontein garrison captured 28 Boer snipers. Fifty women and children who were found baking Boers’ bread at Thabancbu, were conveyed to Bloemfontein. Mack, a German American, was sentenced to death on a charge of trying to seduce a soldier from his allegiance. Lord Roberts commuted the sentence to imprisonment in Ceylon until all the other Boer prisoners are expatriated.
STRATFORD, November 27.
Trooper Montgomerie arrived here last night. He was driven from Eltham by the Mayor and an escort of Mounted Rifles, and formally welcomed home by the Mayor from the steps of the post office. There was a great croud, and he was given a most ennthusiastic reception, bands being in attendance.

The Government has received the following cable from the General of Communications at Capetown: —“Waiwera left Capetown on November 21st, having on board 21 men of various colonial corps, including 13 invalids; also two invalids from a New Zealand Contingent for Auckland, and one man discharged from Brabant’s Horse, for Lyttelton.
