There will be 12 Wellington represeu tatives in the Commonwealth Contingent instead of 11 as previously proposed.

DUNEDIN, November 26.

At the annual meeting of the Union Steam Ship Company, the Hon. G. McLean presided. The directors’ report recommended the payment of a dividend of 4 per cent, foi the half year, making with the interim dividend, 7 pier cent, for the year. The report was adopted and the Hon. G. McLean reelected a director.
