BOERS TREKKING TO MAFEKING

DEATH OF A NEW ZEALANDER.

Per Press Association,

WELINGTON, November 22. Sir Alfred Milner cables to the Premier that 2483, Trooper R. V. James, Fifth New Zealand Contingent, died of enteric fever at Zeerust on Novemoer 20th. James was a member of the Thirteen Company, and hailed from Collingwood, in the Nelson district, where his father resides.
