THE PRICE OF BREAD.

TO THE EDITOR. Sib,—l think it is time the bakers were roused up again, for I notice that as long as the public are quiet, they will lie low. But when you hear of bread being sold in Dunedin at 4d per loaf foreash whilst, at the same time they pay more for thei flour in Dunedin than in Timaru (as Timaru flour is sent to Dunedin at the present time) I think it time for us to make a move here. I have no doubt the bakers will reduce at the end of the month, but there is no need to wait till then, as the month is just begun. They can easily arrange it if they will to start from the Ist of February. I am, etc., One Interested.
