COMMERCIAL.

There was a fair entry of sheep at the Makikihi stock sale yesterday, say about 3000. Business was sound, and late prices were well maintained. A nice line of forward two and four-tootha brought 12s, backward four-tooth halfbreds 10s 6d, two-tooth ewes with lambs 7s, all counted; store lambs 8s 6d to 8s 9d, butchers’ sheep.Bs to 9s. There was next to nothing done in the cattle trade.
