It is believed that Mr George Wyndham, member for Dover, willjsucceed Mr Curzon as Parliamentary Under-secretary for Foreign Affairs. THE DRUCE CASE. The Druce case, involving the succession to the Dukedom of Portland, is before Mr Justice in Jeune the Probate Court. The case is one in which it is is alleged that Thomas Charles Druce, a wealthy upholsterer, who was supposed tohave been buried in Highgate Cemetery In 1864 did not die at that time ; that the burial was a sham one, the coffin having been filled with lead. The widow of his son declares that Druce was in reality the Marquis of Lichfield, fifth Duke of Portland. Mr Justice Jeune made an order for the opening of the vault. INDIAN FRONTIER FIGHTING. Calcutta, August 10. The mad Mullah who incited the Afridis and neighbouring tribes to rise against the British last year has joined the Bajaur tribesmen, who are fighting against the Nawab of Dir. It is probable that the Nawab will require British assistance. REBELLION IN ARABIA. Constantinople, August 10. Owing to the continued exactions of Turkish officials, another formidable re. bellion has broken out at Yemen, Arabia. Since May Turkey has sent 10,000 troops to that province.
