Feu Electric Telegraph--Copyright. Per Press association. Melbourne, March 11.. The Premier presided at a meeting of the new Federal candidates elected to. represent Victoria. The opinion generally expressed was that members should enter the Convention with open minds and vote as they thought fit. It was also thought that the most vexed questions should be discussed in public,: while the Federal financial sheme should: be formulated in private by; a committee before it was dealt with by the Convention. 1 '
