Tufted or Boucl6 Stuffs—we won’t append high-class names —in splendid variety and quite novel and becoming shades are the piece de resistance, Is Oid yard to 25s 6d per Costume length. We thought these were getting past, but they go as freely as ever, certainly to create a demand we sell local productions at an absurd price, the same quality would fetch 5s 6d in London. Timaru Tweeds the best patterns produced. Petone ditto a different style altogether. Canvas Tweeds, a Scotch range and Faced Clothing ditto in best Colourings complete this large branch. There is a good deal of style about these Tweeds while none of them are too pronounced. We do not push these, they go themselves. FOR HOME WEAR & CHILDREN’S WEAR. Meltons are going out, but we still keep three ranges in best shades.

We would especially note that alterations are completed in Furnishing Boom, and we are extending this with a nice little stock of new goods at popular prices.
