WESLEYAN CONFERENCE.

(By Telegraph.) WELLINGTON, March 11, At the Wesleyan Conference the Rev. Mr Morley presented the report of the Jubilee Fund. Since the fund was originated special subscriptions to the relief of the Church debts amounting to £3442 had been paid. The local tiusts indicated by the donors of £IOOO had been invested on behalf of the Home Missions, £2OOO was set aside for a special branch of the loan fund, and £BSO to ordinary capital of that fund, a total of £7292. The Rev. Mr Merely, with the superintendents of Durham Street, Christchurch South and St. Albans circuits, with Messrs Prudhoe, Blackwell, and Bowson,were appointed the Committee for the year. The Rev. Mr Orchard was requested to open negotiations with the Bible Christian Church, England, regarding the claims of the children’s fund for 1896.
