Subject to any necessary alterations mails will close as under Tuesday, Z6th January. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Penguin, at 4.30 p.m. Friday, 29th January. For the Australian Colonies (via Web lington), and Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Tekapo, at 6 a.m. . Saturday,3othJanuary. For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe (via Brindisi), Australian Colonies, India, China, etc. (via Bluff), per Wakatipu, at 4 p.m. [This mail will be due in London on March 16th.1 OCEAN MAIL SERVICES. Via Brindisi and Naples to London.
Mails for above services will be announced at Timaru Post Office as connecting steamers ofrer. Mails for Fiji, per Pukaki, will leave Auckland on 3rd Feb. The next mail for the United Kingdom (via San Francisco), closes at Timaru on 17th Feb.; due in Loudon March 24th. Mails for Earatonga and Tahiti will close at Auckland, per Upolu, on 17th February. The next direct mail for the United Kingdom and Europe will leave hyttlnton, per lonic, on 4th Feb. ; due in London 18th March. S. P. Stevbss, Acting Chief Postmaster.
