Herald arrived from Oamaru at 4 p.m. yesterday. She landed 20 tons of cargo, and took hence 150, and left for the north about 8 p.m. The N.Z.S. Co’s, line steamer Ruahine, arrived from Port Chalmers about 6 o’clock this morning. She takes in here about 10.000 carcases of mutton and some wool, and leaves for Lyttelton late to-night.
