CBy Telegraph.) AUCKLAND, October 21. At a meeting of the Otiehunga Borough Council a resolution was passed by 7 to 2, soliciting Sir Maurice O’Rorke to stand for Manakau. Mr Frank Lawry will address the electors of Parnell, and will decide his future course afterwards. Mr Crowther announces his candidature for the city. CHRISTCHURCH, October 21. Mr R. Meredith addressed a meeting of Ashley electors at Kaikoura, and received a vote of thanks and confidence.
