Per Press Association. London, October 21. To-day being the anniversary of the battle of Trafalgar, Nelson’s statue was gaily decorated. Among the wreaths placed on the monument was one from the Colonial Institute. The newspapers in patriotic articles insist that the navy should be increased. (By Telegraph.) NELSON, October 22. A general half holiday was observed yesterday, the anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar. The amateur athletic sports were the principal attraction. During the three-mile cycle race, the last event of the day, a small boy named Thomas Lowe ran across the track and was knocKed down by A. W. Shallcrass, down violently, breaking his right wrist who was riding fast. The latter came spraining his left thumb, and being bruised about the body. The boy received a nasty scalp would.
