(By Telbqbaph.) BLENHEIM. Novembeb 2i. At the Supreme Court to-day Angus McCall was charged with a breach of section 52 of the Chattels Transfer Act, 1889 Mr Justice Richmond, after hearing the evidence, said that there was no case to go to the jury and discharged the accused. DUNEDIN, November 24. The Supremo Court was occupied to-day with a case in which Richard Yaughan, supposed to be on the point of death in 1892, and conveyed £3BO to his married sister, sought to get the property back, but she sefnsed to give it up. Mr Justice Williams gave judgment for Yaughan with costs. In Chambers in the Oamaru case of Park v, Smith, in which the Justices had given judgment, notwithstanding that a question of title of land was involved, Mr Justice Williams granted prohibition against proceeding with the judgment.
