The Australians won the cricket match against (Liverpool and District by an innings and 34 runs. The home team scored 85 (H. Steel 21) in their first innings, and 76 (Stubbs 17) in their second innings. The batting was very feeble. Coniogbam and McLeod bowled throughout the match, and the former in the second innings sent down ten consecutive maiden overs. The fielding of the Australians was excellent, and Blackham’s wicket-keeping was a rare treat to witness. THE ALL ENGLAND TEAM. Flowers, the Notts professional, is the eleventh man in the team to represent England against the Australians on Monday.
