The Scotch Disestablishment Bill was introduced by Mr C. Cameron, the member fur Glasgow College, and was read a first time by a majority of 66 votes. Lord Kimberley in adopting the sag gestion of Lord Ribblesdale, moved In the House of Lords for the appointment of a committee, Including Lord Winchelsea, Lord Onslow, and Lord Carrington, to consider the question of marking colonial produce.
